Four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, the Hidden Ones (the future Assassin’s Brotherhood) are stationed all across Egypt. Investigating a fracas between a rebel faction and the occupying Roman forces, Bayek heads to the Sinaï Peninsula where he’ll find the enigmatic General Rufio and his occupying troops pillaging the area. Bayek will witness the Roman occupation first hand, and take on well-guarded camps, harbours and construction sites where Rufio’s troops are working to dismantle Egyptian monuments.
Along the way, he’ll explore the beautiful new mountainous region of the Sinaï Peninsula across the Red Sea, and get a broader perspective on the progress of the Brotherhood from characters both new and returning.
Players will be able to fix up Bayek with new gear, outfits, mounts and weapons – including some Legen-(wait for it)-daries with special attributes. The level cap increases to 45, with character progress and equipment automatically transferring between the Hidden Ones and Origin’s main story.
The Hidden Ones is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC. For more on Assassin’s Creed Origins check out our previous coverage, and stay tuned for all the latest.
