Forgive me if I’m feeling a bit sentimental. It’s the holiday season, the cheer is good, and – perhaps most important – as I write this on Friday, December 20, 2013, it’s exactly my one-year anniversary at Ubisoft. My how time flies!
And that puts me in the mood for reminiscence. I can’t help but look back fondly at the past six months since we launched the blog and smile when I consider what an amazing journey it’s been. Together with my clever colleague Anne Lewis and a cohort of committed contributors, we’ve posted a colossal 428 stories to this here site. (And that’s just since we launched at the end of May!) We’ve written features about our games, big and small. We’ve broken news. We’ve helped communicate some very important updates. We’ve shared videos. We’ve hosted some brilliant columns. And we’ve built an amazing audience of dedicated readers. We can’t thank you enough for coming to the blog every day, reading and commenting on our stories.
We’ve got some big plans for 2014, and not just on the UbiBlog. So be sure Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to keep up with everything we’re doing. And, if you’re so inclined, feel free to leave us a comment below, letting us know your thoughts: What did we do well, and what can we do better? We’d love to know.
One more quick (self-indulgent) note: Big thanks to my boss Tim Cummins for hiring me. And now, before we head off for a short holiday break, enjoy this Vine from Stone Chin, who knows exactly how to celebrate a glorious milestone.
