The Crew Speeds Onto Xbox 360
America just got a bit more crowded… and that’s a good thing. The Crew – winner of the Best Racing Game of E3 from the 2014 Game Critics Awards – will now be coming out on Xbox 360 on November 11, 2014 (alongside the previously announced Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC releases). The innovative action-driving MMO is set in an open-world United States populated with other players. Drivers can race through quick challenges, tackle gameplay missions with a crew of fellow players, or simply hit the road to explore the massive countryside. Check out the latest trailer for a glimpse of the endless adventures you’ll find in The Crew’s playground.
Why is this new-gen title now steering its way onto the Xbox 360? “It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”

Development of the Xbox 360 game is being led by Asobo Studio, with support from Ivory Tower, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Shanghai.
Console Closed Beta
Ubisoft also announced today another opportunity to jump into the game before release – this time on consoles. In late September, a limited number of players will be invited to participate in a closed beta on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more info about this closed beta soon. Meanwhile, the previously announced PC closed beta will resume on August 25.
