Might & Magic Heroes VII – Closed Beta Goes Live June 3

The closed beta for Might & Magic Heroes VII is going live next week, and those who pre-order the strategy RPG are invited for an exclusive early taste. Running from 5 a.m. PDT on June 3 until 5 a.m. PDT on June 17, the beta features two Skirmish maps and two factions, giving fans an opportunity to freely tear it up in turn-based battles as Haven’s holy knights or Academy’s assortment of monsters and wizards.

The beta’s two maps – The Dried Lands and Bad Neighbors – can be explored freely, giving you a chance to scour them for resources while you build up your town, recruit armies and develop your heroes. Those who want to discover the maps at their own pace can play against AI opponents, while more adventurous players can face off online in four-player team or free-for-all matches. Additionally, there won’t be a maximum level (or any other restrictions on exploring the available content), so you’ll be able to devote as much time as you want to mastering the maps while the beta is active.

If you want to get in on this action, there’s still time – those who pre-order Might & Magic Heroes VII before the closed beta ends on June 17 will be able to jump in. Everyone else will be able to enjoy the full game when it arrives this September.
