The European Assault DLC will be available on April 23, 2009 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The price is 400 Microsoft Points or $4.99 on Ps3. In the European Assault Pack, take the lead in the multi-role carrier-borne version of the Dassault Rafale, the robust Saab-37 Viggen and two Mirage planes designed for nuclear strike and long-range interception. Fly the delta-winged FB-22 prototype bomber, based on the cutting-edge design of the F-22 Raptor. In addition, you get the advanced experimental XA-20 Razorback featured in Tom Clancy's EndWar! I too am confused. 2 of these planes are already on my system (the F-22B and the Razorback). The Rafale M is nice, but the other two Mirages seem unnecessary given the number of Mirage fighters already in the game. Ok, Ok, I get it. Ubisoft is a French company, so obviously French planes are going to be well represented :)
In all seriousness though, if you want us to pay for something, give us something new. The Viggen is the only plane in this pack I really care about. How about giving us the BAE Lightening? The Panavia Tornado interceptor and ground attack models? The F-104 Starfigther, or some other classic U.S. planes like the Delta Dart and Delta Dagger? Plus, the game will simply not be complete until you through the good ol' A-4 Skyhawk into the mix! but i dont think their really what players want I made list of planes of which i think would be cool, some of them arent really hard to make,cause a different version is already in the game etc. Panavia Tornade Gr.4 F/A 18 Super Hornet with 2 seats EA-3B Skywarrior Dassault Brequet Alpha Jet Mig 21 Two seats Mig 23 Flogger (Russian version of a EF-111 Raven) Yak-36 (Russian ground attack plane) the BAE Lightning All fighter (Mig 21 - Dassault Brequet Alpha Jet - BAE Lightning) should have Good Air to Air weapons Air to Ground planes ( Mig 23 Flogger - Yak-36) Should have good Air to Ground weapons And the multi-rolers (F/A 18 Super Hornet double seat - EA-3B Skywarrior - Panavia Tornado Gr.4) should have both Air to Air as Air to Ground weapons Also, some new skins are more as welcome, Like 4 the F-14 a look a like paint of the Jolly Rogers!! etc. etc. etc.!!! (A.K.A capture the flag and team leader) And like everyone else, a Tornado and a Skyhawk would be nice. (B-52 bomber would be awsome if that was even possible to integrate it into a fighter game) But if you could, the Harrier has the ability to hover so why not give us that ability. (now I'm going a little far but) Plus, helicopters would be awsome. The way this connects is that Tom Clancy is on that show speaking about planes. Seriosly, im at lvl 27 and it takes ages to go up a level when the experience cap is about 20,000 points. plus I've completed almost 70% of the challenges, most of which are worth the "wopping" 5,000 points. 1... what is your fascination with mirage fighters? nearly 20% of the playable aircraft are mirage, isnt that enough?
2... why are you going to charge so much for 2 fighters already available on all formats? if its a 'european' pack wouldnt it be more productive to add the Hailstorm from endwar instead?
