I would like clarification as to why the F-16 is mentioned twice. Is one of them the F-16XL, by chance? Also, do let us know if we can obtain the other pre-order bonuses if we ordered 1 already. I have a few questions about this list: do you mean the mig 35 with the mig 33 because I haven't heard abaut it and why isn't there a mig 31 instead of the mig25. And also, will the su 35(the one without canards) be better than the su37 like in real world, or will the terminator be the best flanker like in many other games?

WOW the planes seem seriously kick ass, cant wait till this came comes out... im still thinking about where to preorder my copy of Hawx tho? In the Uk its HMV for the FB-22, Game for the F-18 and Gamestation for the A-12. The A-12 i dont think i want as it looks kinda poo to be honest, so im in a dilema whether to get F-18 or FB-22 or i even tempted to get the HAWX faceplate exclusively from Play.com if it isnt sold seperately. Yeah, the YF-12 is a Blackbird. It seems to me like a great project. Imagine a Mach 3+ fighter aircraft. Not sure why the YF-12 never left experimental stages but think it had something to do with an incident.



Also the VIP program is probably like the one on Shaun White that gives you the freak clothes and guitar.

I just about dropped my drink when I saw how long this list was! Since I couldn't help myself, I checked the official site, and I've already found them trying to balance these planes out by making the F22 MUCH slower than it really is. NOT COOL!

Also have to ask why they're putting all these old planes in here too- they're gonna be cooked like a turkey at an Aggies bonfire

the SU-47 is very likely to be in the game because it was in the demo and it is on the list above, and like i just said. the VIP program is just to be a member on the Ubisoft forums as i understand it

As there is F-5 as the export fighter for NATO,why no Su-17 as the export one for Wasaw Treaty Orglization?Also,F-111 vs Su-24,F-4 vs MiG-23,F-4G vs Mi-27,F-106 vs Su-15 and so on.

Great list of planes, and after playing the demo, i am already sold (though where to pre-order from i don't know, as wanting all the planes comes with a "gotta catch them all" Pokemon attitude, F-18 HARV or FB-22 Strike Raptor it really comes down to. Maybe they will release them all through MS points or something later). My only concern was no Tornado on the list??? This was glaring and really stood out not being there, in a sense. Either way, Hawx so far just based on the demo blows Ace Combat 6 out of the sky, and i adore that game. Assistance off is simply stunning to view and control, i can't wait!!!

A firm salute to the development team for working in many of the "Vietnam Vets" per say. Great to see them included, though I do wonder why they didn't chose the newer, more sophisticated "E" models for the A-6 and A-7? The A-6E and A-7E would certainly be more fitting, let alone survivable, in a 21st century environment, than the early A-6A and A-7B models. In that regard I also wonder why no games have included 21st century foreign upgrades of older aircraft such as Turkey's F-4E 2020 Terminator, Brazil's F-5EM, or India's Mig-21-93 Bison.

i think HAWX gameplay is to ARCADE games...the gameplay seems too fast...i prefer ACE COMBAT....
that the grafity more great like slow motion G FORCE...simulation ACE COMBAT more realistic....but HAWX to ARCADE style....i think...it will be decrease gameplay rating...i hope ubisoft romania...repair this until the game release on march 12 for PC...

HAWX engine until release final...or give a patch that improved the engine..

For my comment the good think on hawx games is the action camera & The feature...but the gameplay is to arcade and when fly the aircraft seems to RIGID...

The mission on hawx looks like not the real military...but mixed with fun things...

Good to see a few old planes like The Mig-21 and A-7B Corsair II. It would be interesting trying to dogfight an advanced fighter in one these relics.

3) Considering that your only getting one extra plane depending on who you preorder from, when the game is released and the extra plane codes are dispatched to players, will they be have a one-time-only use, or can players then post the codes on forums like this to then enable other players to take advantage of the extra planes?

on a lot of recent ubi games there's been a seperate menu in the options that lets you download extra content, rainbow vegas 2 had a multiplayer level, far cry 2 had a machette and prince of persia had a costume for the prince. maybe thats the VIP program

I think it sucks that you can't get all the bonus planes. What are you supposed to do, order 3 copies of the game? And thanks UBI for answering the VIP question - now only 100 more people will ask it until the game is released rather than somone posting some info.

Awesome. Simply awesome. Including the "not-so-bleeding edge of technology" planes will satisfy a lot of us. AC always seemed to choose either uninteresting planes or some that felt too generic. I'm looking forward to flying the YF-12A...kudos!

How can I use my Saab-35 Draken
on pc????

I'm missing the su35 and the mig 35.
if the mig 33 is the mig 35, it should be way more agile because it has 3d thrust vectoring unlike the f22 and the su47.
I know the su 35 is in the game, but that is just an old flanker and never was produced. I'm talking about the su 35BM(big modernization). It is the last flanker, and it doesn't have canards or that air brake on its back, because they became useless when they gave the plane 3d thrust vectoring. Please, ubisoft, include these planes to the game or at least to hawx 2 if there is going to be one. I'm really tired with the su 37 and su 47 being the best Russian aircraft in every game.

For all those who are wondering how to get in the VIP program, make a Ubi.com account then access the "Exlusive Content" section in the "Extras" section in the PS3 and Wii versions. Enter your Ubi.com account, choose the first plane you want to unlock, then exit. The game will restart and a little window will tell you that you have unlocked "Exclusive VIP Content".
