Here in the lovely province of Quebec, we have a holiday known as St. Jean Baptiste Day. Not being a Canadian myself, I IM’ed our Producer, LP, to give him a pop quiz on what this day is all about. LP passed with flying colors and informed me that this day is to celebrate the province of Quebec. It is by sheer coincidence that I’m able to tell you that we have a St. Jean Baptiste Day present for you! Not that we needed a holiday to give you stuff…but it’s a nice coincidence. Up for grabs is a new wallpaper, and unlike the wallpapers already available in the downloads section of the official site, this deliciously moody wallpaper is also available for your Blackberry and iPhone. While you may not have been able to personally attend Ubidays, we wanted to be able to show you Far Cry 2 at Ubidays, so myself and a camera guy went through the booth to film it and ask attending community guests what they thought after seeing the game. Special cameo appearances by dev team members Alex Amancio (wearing slick FC2 sunglasses), Simon Charbonneau (vacationing team member), Clint Hocking (the back of his head), Pat Redding (the side of his head), Pierre-Yves Savard (playing PS3!), and Dominic Guay (walks into the shot with Simon).
