Another E3 has come and gone and the awards have been tallied. Far Cry 4 (and Pagan Min) won the hearts of quite a few critics with Ubisoft Montreal’s absolutely insane press conference showing and explosive showfloor demo. Have you ever seen a giant bird swoop down and snatch up a mountain goat? Probably not. How about a rampaging elephant taking down an entire military outpost, almost on its own? Yeah, we’re gonna guess it’s a no on that one too. That’s just a tiny slice of what’s possible in Far Cry 4 – and the press is in love with the possibilities, as you can see in this impressive accolades trailer.

Pre-order Far Cry 4 to get automatically bumped up to the Limited Edition, which contains an additional three single-player missions. Rescue Hurk (who you may remember from Far Cry 3′s DLC) and receive access to The Impaler – a brutally effective harpoon gun. You can also pre-order the Kyrat Edition to get the following cool goodies:

    Statue of Pagan Min
    Travel Journal
    Propaganda Poster
    Map of Kyrat
    Collector’s Box
Hurk’s Redemption (the three single-player missions in the Limited Edition)
    The Impaler

The Kyrat Edition will be $129.99 and is available to pre-order now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Is there a reason why we haven't heard much news for a while? I was hoping for an info dump on Unity, but you guys have been pretty much mum since E3. What gives?

What is about the pre-order content, like the Blood Diamond Misssion, the Shadow Pistol and the double barrel Shotgun? Is this all part of the season pass content?

Why is he sitting on an elephant instead of a broken statue like the box art? Lame
