After some of the most exciting open qualifiers we have ever seen, eight teams are locked in for the Rainbow Six Siege UK Premiership and the group stage action gets underway tonight.
Starting today you will be able to watch the group stage of the UK Premiership every Wednesday at 7pm live on Twitch. The group stage will last for eight weeks, with the teams playing in a best of one round robin format. This means that the teams will have to beat the best in the league to make it to the LAN finals.
After making it through the qualifiers, Pro League squad and top four finishers at the Paris Major, Team Secret are arguably the biggest name in the competition, and will certainly be tough to beat. But as we have seen before in the UK Premiership anything can happen, and some of the other teams have real potential. Who knows, maybe we will see the next team to make it to the Pro League come from this season of the UK Premiership.
Joining Team Secret in the competition are Guidance Gaming, Vexed.Ebuyer, Unnamed, MnM Gaming UK, Team No Home, Barrage Esports and Horizon Union. Over the next eight weeks they will all compete, trying to win a spot at the LAN finals. The top four teams in the group stage will make it to the LAN finals, which will take place at the ESL Leicester 1 studio on Saturday December 8th 2018, where the teams will battle it out for the lion’s share of the £10,500 prize pool.
If you wish to tune into the action live you can already subscribe to the Rainbow Six UK Twitch channel to be notified when the broadcast goes live, or simply head on over there at 7pm every Wednesday. The action will be brought to you by some of the finest Rainbow Six casters, who will make sure you don’t miss any of the important details.
If you can’t watch along live you can keep up to date with all the action by heading to the Rainbow Six UK Facebook and Twitter pages and you can get involved in the conversation by using the #ESLPrem hashtag.
