Rainbow Six Siege – Operation Para Bellum first details

Ubisoft recently released the first details of Rainbow Six Siege‘s Year 3 Season 2’s Operation Para Bellum.

Para Bellum adds two new Italian operators (ciao!) specialised in defence, along with the game’s nineteenth new map.

Year 3 Season 2 will also bring a new intel gadget, a buff to the Clubhouse map, a buff to the Echo operator, a bunch of gameplay fixes, and a new Pick and Ban system intended to add an extra layer of strategy to the ban phase with teams trying to counter each other’s picks.

There will also be adjustments to the handling of dropshotting (where players switch to prone while maintaining their down-the-sights perspective, giving them an unrealistic advantage), along with a new counter defuser animation.

The full reveal of Operation Para Bellum will take place at the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals on May the 19th and 20th – so make sure to tune in at https://www.twitch.tv/rainbow6.
