E3 2017 is less than two weeks away, and the buzz for the show is building to a crescendo. Ubisoft is busy preparing to help welcome the 15,000 fans who snapped up tickets to this year’s event – a first for the show – and the millions who will be watching and following online. Teams are putting the finishing touches on the demonstrations and trailers for this year’s games lineup, which promises to be one of the company’s biggest and boldest in years.
In an official statement, CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot said, “E3 is truly a moment of excitement and pride, not just for Ubisoft but for our entire industry. We’re looking forward to sharing our unique take on creating game worlds and our action-packed line-up with players, and to seeing what our fellow developers are working on.”
Ubisoft kicks things off Monday, June 12, at 1PM Pacific Time, with the Ubisoft E3 2017 Conference, live from the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The audience will be treated to a look at the latest from the next Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry 5, the next Just Dance, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, The Crew 2, and many more. For those who can’t attend in person, the event will be broadcast live and on-demand at Ubisoft.com, Ubisoft’s YouTube channel, and Ubisoft’s Twitch channel.
Guillemot went on to say, “These great games are the result of the collective efforts of our talented teams from around the world, partnerships with some of the biggest names in entertainment, and contributions and feedback from the players themselves. That’s why we can’t wait for the thousands of fans attending this year’s E3, and the millions more watching from home, to discover what we have in store.”
The doors to the E3 show floor open at noon Pacific Time on Tuesday, June 13, and Ubisoft’s booth – located in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center – is being built to handle the additional traffic from 15,000 excited fans. Visitors will be treated to live entertainment throughout the week and will be eligible to win special, in-game content. Also, the Ubi Workshop will be selling apparel, accessories and collectibles from their latest collections.
