Gary Steinman has won numerous editorial awards, but you probably don’t care about that. He also ran multiple industry leading publications and websites including PlayStation: The Official Magazine,, PC Gamer and Newtype USA – but that’s all in the past. The real truth about Gary? He loves cats, he takes too many selfies on Facebook (according to one co-worker, at least), and he occasionally crochets. And now he’s helping share stories about Ubisoft’s amazing games and their incredible creators in his role overseeing the UbiBlog and other select Ubisoft social channels. OK, it's not a real blog, it's about marketing...

This is quite disappointing.

Hello from France, Mr Steinman...

For a long time I wanted to say a few words about "The Division" and here I am.

With twenty friends of many nationalities, we were passionate GRFS players (Ghost Recon Future Soldier) in a clan that has more than 2,500 members.

But mainly because of the exponential number of cheaters, we were forced to close our modest battalion.

We know, Ubisoft does not communicate on cheating (although there is so much to say ...), but that is not the issue.

Friends who made our team thought they could go to "The Division" fairly quickly.

But first, we have learned that the game's release would not happen until December 2015. So everyone has said, OK, let's be patient.

And yesterday, rumors on the web say that the game will be available in June 2015. Others suggest that the release of the game will take place after 2015.

So I ask you, what to believe?

As Sr. communications Manager do you think it would be a bad thing to clarify what is being said on the web?

I think a lot of us would at least have some precisions, failing to have an exact release date.

Best Regards.

(Sorry for my bad english)

I don't have the money to buy a console for just one game. Even though it seems so freaking awesome! Secondly, I get ants in my pants whenever I hear or see anything related to the Division, please don't make me wait for too long will ya? ;D

After I seen the trailer for The Division, I knew I had to buy a PS4. I want this game more than ANY other game. I really hope it stands up to what we've seen thus far. PLEASE release in Q1 of 2015 (if it's ready). March at the latest.

The downgrade didn't even happen.. It was a false rumor.. Or atleast I think it was. :O Either way I dont care if its downgraded or not Im so excited for this game I wanna blow up lol jk but damn its so awesome!

I simply cannot wait for this game. It looks too cool, in every aspect. Ubisoft has kept impressing me more and more over the years, so I'm anxious to see how it plays. I don't even care if the graphics are 'downgraded', the gameplay looks epic and that's all I care about.

Then maybe you should have gone with the Xb One as it has some exclusive features for the Division.

I hate you because you never play a game for what it is. Instead you focus on graphics and not the game mechanics set in the game.
