Assassin’s Creed Rogue – On the Hunt
You’ve done it a hundred times… perhaps more. You’ve hunted down Templars and assassinated them, fulfilling your contract and your duty. But this time it’s different. In Assassin’s Creed Rogue, you step into the boots of Shay Patrick Cormac, a former Assassin who turns against the Creed and turns toward the Templars, becoming a deadly Assassin hunter. And in this all-new River Valley Land Gameplay Walkthrough – narrated by Game Director Martin Capel – you’ll get to see this in stunning action.
Highlights in the video include a glimpse of the new weapons, tools and tactics at Shay’s disposal. For starters, Shay’s ship The Morrigan is faster, more maneuverable than the Jackdaw from Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. She’s also got some new fierce new firepower (for more on that, head over to: Assassin’s Creed Rogue – Arctic Naval Gameplay).
But the real star of this video? Capturing a gang headquarters. As Capel explains in the video, gangs are “a collection of lawless criminals and privateers who fight the colonial powers for dominance in the New World.” They also happen to be loyal to the Assassins cause, which makes this an even more enticing target for Shay. To complete the capture, Shay has to fulfill three objectives: sabotage three barrels containing the gang’s poison reserves; locate and kill the gang headquarters’ leader; and cut down the gang flag.
We won’t spoil the rest of the video for you, because it’s, well, awesome. But suffice to say Shay has an expanded Templar arsenal that he’ll need to use to create confusion, manipulate his surroundings, and take on new foes.
