Aymar Azaïzia, head of content on the Assassin’s Creed series, recently had a chance to visit the set of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film and managed to snap a few shots from his visit. The first should be immediately identifiable to Assassin’s Creed fans as the logo of Abstergo, the corporate front for the nefarious Templar organization.
The following shot is Azaïzia with Director Justin Kurzel, who also directed a critically-acclaimed film adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” featuring Assassin’s Creed stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard.
And speaking of Michael Fassbender, the last shot comes from production company DMC Film of the actor in what appears to be the modern day setting as Callum Lynch. Callum discovers his connections to a 15th century Assassin, named Aguilar, via his genetic memories.
Azaïzia and the Assassin’s Creed team also snapped this picture outside the world-famous 007 Stage where filming took place. (Pictured from left to right: Aymar Azaïzia, Jean Guesdon, Benoit Lambert, Etienne Allonier, and Carsten Mayhill).
Assassin’s Creed is scheduled for release in theaters on December 21, 2016.
