Since our last update on the Assassin’s Creed movie, we’ve seen a few more images trickle out into the wild that offer a hint of what’s to come. First, Aymar Azaïzia, Assassin’s Creed’s head of content, shared these photos of ancient swords stored in what appears to be an Abstergo display case:
Then we have this detail of one of the swords. Who was the model for this pommel? What kind of person even has a neck like that? Templars are weird. (Although we’re pretty sure that’s the face of someone who was burned at the stake at the beginning of a recent Assassin’s Creed game.)

Assassin’s Creed is scheduled for release in theaters on December 21, 2016.
