With the exciting launch of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag single-player comes the equally excellent multiplayer experience. This weekend (November 1 to November 3, 2013), you can swashbuckle your way through the multiplayer mode as you participate in our multiplayer event, titled “Under Control.” This is the first in a series of events that will be launched over the coming months.

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag - Community Multiplayer Event

Under Control focuses on Domination mode, which requires players to capture specific points on the map and defend them against attackers.

During this event – and future events – players will be challenged to complete Community and Individual goals. There are also Participation goals for players who log into multiplayer but don’t have a lot of time to play. Completion of these goals will unlock unique rewards that will enhance your multiplayer experience. Keep in mind though that some of the rewards for the event pertain only to the characters that are playable within the event itself.

This goals for this weekend:

    Community: Capture 25 Territories
Individual: Stun a Pursuer in a capture zone 10 times
Participation: Complete a session in the event playlist

The rewards for completing the above objectives:

Community: Assassin’s Costumes for the playable characters
Individual: 1 Patron Picture per playable character
Participation: Title “Master of the Caribbean”

Too bad it freezes on the PS3 every 15 minutes and it takes 30 minutes of removing/inserting the disc to ghet it to work again. It's also too bad I haven't heard from anyone from Ubisoft asking about this. $60 pretty much wasted. STEER CLEAR of this game.

Bummer that I can't participate... I pre-ordered for Xbox One so I can't play until the 22nd. I wish Ubisoft held off the launch until the next gen consoles were available so we could all play at once. It's hard enough to avoid spoilers as it is.
